Distinguishing Features of the Work
Serves under the Corrections Adult Division Assistant Director while administering a furlough program for all institutions and units within the Division of Adult Services.
The work involves heading a central committee while reviewing all furlough applications, case histories, and making decisions as to whether a furlough is to be granted. Responsibility is assigned for coordinating the efforts to determine, establish, and implement guidelines by which the furlough program will be administered. Policies, procedures, and regulations will be interpreted to provide program w1ifot~nity throughout all institutions within the Division.

Qualification Standards
Graduation from an accredited college or university with major studies in the behavioral or social science field and 3 years of related experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Additional related experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent time basis, four years of which must have been in such areas as classification, treatment, security, administration, or in a supervisory capacity.
