Distinguishing Features of the Work

This class performs varied tasks as assigned in a food service operation under the direction of higher-level authority.

This class is distinguished from the classes Food Operations Assistant A and Food Production Worker A by the degree of complexity of the assigned tasks and the lesser need for supervision. The duties may include, but are not limited to, line service and normal set-up tasks and simple production. Production may include duties such as baking, roasting, frying, etc. of food products.

Supervision is received from senior workers or managers.

 

Qualification Guide

The employee must be able to follow recipe cards and able to understand more complex instructions than "A" level.
