PRACTICAL NURSE A 44051 C

Provides patient care in hospitals, clinics, patients' homes and other facilities.

The duties involve a variety of functions including administering medications, giving treatment including use of equipment, providing personal comfort services, maintaining patient records, and cleaning and maintaining equipment. Duties are performed under the direction of a physician or higher level nursing personnel.

QUALIFICATION GUIDE*

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, and eligibility for, or registration in the State of Virginia.
