Provides professional and administrative supervision to a staff of dentists, assistants, and hygienists in a large State facility dental clinic.

The work involves planning and supervising programs in specialty areas, establishing quality control standards, performing oral surgery, orthondontia and complete prosthodontia, and total clinic management.

Receives administrative supervision from the Facility Director.

Graduation from a recognized School of Dentistry, and licensed to practice in the State of Virginia. Considerable experience in the practice of dentistry.

Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of preventive and corrective dentistry and oral hygiene; diagnostic abilities; demonstrated management skills.
