Positions in this class monitor and assist students who use the center or laboratory for individual study and testing. Duties include assisting students in the selection of subject media; demonstrating audio-visual and microcomputer equipment use; proctoring and scoring examinations; scheduling center use; and organizing, circulating, maintaining, and securing course materials and center equipment. This class is distinguished from the Instructional Assistant class by its emphasis and focus on equipment operation and facility scheduling rather than on specific subject matter/course knowledge.
