Assists an Alcohol Beverage Control Store Manager A in managing a small to medium-size retail store.

Assists in training and supervising ABC Store Clerks. Reports to the Store Manager.

The duties include assisting in the management of various aspects of store operations including merchandise receiving and shipping, shelf stocking and pricing, providing customer service and relations, employee training and scheduling, record keeping, and facilities maintenance.

Time spent on different aspects of the work may vary periodically according to needs. Must be prepared to assume charge of the store in the Manager’s absence.

Knowledge of retail store operations. Ability to function in all aspects of store management. Ability to train and supervise the work of Store Clerks. Ability to handle customer relations.

Graduation from high school and experience related to the position’s duties; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
