Assists the Supply and Equipment Supervisor in the operation of the ABC Supply Stock Room.

Examples of duties characteristic of positions in this class:

1. Prepares receiving reports, assists in filling orders and maintains readily available file on purchase orders and requisitions for supplies ordered.
2. Supervises shipments and assists in delivery of all supplies and equipment.
3. Supervises operations requiring use of power lift trucks.
4. Coordinates proper identification of new equipment and furniture.
5. Supervises work of Supply Stock Room employees in the absence of the Supervisor.

Graduation from high school or equivalent and two years’ experience in supply, equipment or parts control function. Additional education may be substituted for experience on an equivalent time basis; supervisory or administrative experience is desired.
